Breed: Lisa Steele Cookies and Cream.

Age: 10 months.

Weight: No exact weight but is a lighter breed.

She has blood dripping out of one of her right foot’s toes or possibly a quick.

I noticed this morning at 10:00 am but blood was on her chest so it may have beed earlier in the morning.

No other birds have blood on them.

She is actively slowly dripping blood from her foot area.

Her foot may have been pecked at by the others and they made it start to bleed or she pecked herself which is less common behavior of her.

I have been feeding her regular food with an “Impeckables”fruit & worms grain with vitamin water.

She has normal poop color.

So far I have brought her inside, washed her feet in the tub, put antibacterial antifungal spray and bluecoat on the wound, placed her in a quarantine tote and she has food and water supply.

I will try to do all treatment for her myself.

The wound is not visible due to the bluecoat.

Apply pressure, usually the bleeding will stop on its own, I've never had to use any type of blood stop, cornstarch or anything like that on torn nails.

If it's a torn or broken nail, that will be sore for a few day, but she should be fine. I usually leave mine with their flock.

Ok thanks for letting me know! I’ll keep her in for the day and see how she is for tomorrow.
