My hen has a growth above her eye that is gotten large in size and mis-shapen her eye socket and head. It's hard to the touch, I can't feel any indication that it has fluid. Her eye gets a little watery but not bad like an infection. It almost seems like a hard tumer. Her vision seems to be certianly affected if not blind already. I think she was in pain as it was growing. But she seems to be acting fine now. I'm tring to figure out 1) if I need to seperate her from the rest of the flock, 2) if she still lays are the eggs edible, 3) if she has to be killed, can I still eat her?
