Hey Everyone,

So I have a 1 year old Hen, well I have 6 of them... and they are still getting used to each other. They have been together in the same coop for about 3 weeks, and all getting along really well....

Today I went out to the coop and saw that my large Rhode Island White, who we call "momma", was limping...... pretty big limp too.... :(

Can someone more experienced please help me.... I let them free range today for a few hours and she did range.. but limped the whole time...

Thanks so much!!!

Check the bottom of her foot any sores? Possible she may have injured her leg jumping off roost. Is she putting any pressure on leg? Try holding her up,will she put leg down? You could try a epsom salt soak, great for sprains, sore muscles.
