I have a hen with bumblefoot. I have separated her from the rest of the flock, cleared a large amount of the infection out and put antibiotics on the wound, there is still more infection (cottage cheese material) deep in her foot and I am worried that I might injure the foot if I try to get it all out. Is there anything more I can do to help her heal?
