my hen has fowl pox and was late laying yesterday and has not layed today that I know of!!

Fowl pox (dry form) is pretty self limiting without any treatment. Occasionally antibiotics are given for possible secondary bacterial infections, but this is rare. If she only has the dry form (lesions on wattles and comb) she should heal up in about two weeks or so on her own. In the mean time, make sure she is eating and drinking and I would avoid bringing in or selling birds until the virus has run its course through your flock. Pox is highly contagious but luckily the dry form is rarely deadly.
