Welcome To BYC

Can you post photos of your hen and her legs?

Where are you located in the world?

What do you feed, including treats?

Without seeing the legs, it's hard to know what may be going on with her.

Here are a few photos of my hen. Here we called "saberpoot" race.small size and long hair on their feet.

Hi! Do you have a question? I can't see anything wrong with her legs but may be because her feathered feet are hiding an issue?

Are you trying to say her legs are swollen?

I don't see anything too alarming about the legs. With feathered feet it's hard to tell.
Possible she has Scaly Leg Mites. Coat the legs/feet with Vaseline, NuStock Cream or an oil to help smother the mites, do this at least once a week for several weeks.

That looks like SLM (scaly leg mites) that aren't too bad yet.

I have silkies (feathered feet) and they are prone to those. They've had them three times in eight years. We did what @Wyorp Rock suggests the first two times, and that does the trick!

The third time they got them, I then had tripled the flock so didn't feel like greasing up all those legs and feet so tried Ivermectin 5%. We parted their feathers/fuzz on their necks and dropped one drop of it there (dosage is by weight). Repeat this in 10 days. That was about six months ago and they're looking pretty good now.

Go in the coop at night with a flashlight, as it's easy to catch and treat them there. Having a partner helps.

It takes months to get over those as they have to shed the old scales and regrow new ones. We shouldn't pick any scales off as that can be very painful for them.

Ignore my post. I was replying to a blank post with only pics. I believe the admins since combined two threads for clarity.
