My hen hasn't laid an egg in over a week.

My golden sex-link hen is about ten months old and she has been a very good egg layer. She has laid 5-7 eggs a week and now she hasn't laid one for over a week. Could something be wrong?

Are you sure shes not laying somewhere else? Maybe a predator is getting them? Could she be egg-bound? There is alot of possibilities to this.

Actually I had ten but gave two to my father about a month ago. she did fine with the move and laid really good for him too, but now she hasn't. There is no way a predator could get in. She is in a small pen, big enough for her but small enough to look everywhere. So we don't know what is going on. She does lay big eggs. How can you check to see if she is egg bound? Thanks
