My Hen & her Babies!

My lady sit on 8 eggs & gave me 8 lil beautiful lil chicks..They are now 9 weeks old..My question is, will it be alright to keep my lady & her babies 2gether for good?..The reason I'm asking we went & built her & her babies a pen just for them..We tried to take the babies & my lady went NUTS!, So to keep her calm we put them all 2gether..Plez let me know if it's alright bc my lady will nor can she be without them..HELP PLEZ!!

They can remain together, but there may be too many cockerels to make it a permanent situation.

If you will put up individual pictures of the babies - post at "what breed or gender is this." They will sort them out for you, and you will know which are roosters that you could sell or rehome.

Your hen must be quite a mama most hens kick their offspring out at a few weeks old, they are tired of having them around.

Are they still pretty young? You can wait until she is ready to boot them. Then try putting them elsewhere.
