My Lavender Orpington, Blizzard, seemed...I guess lazy is the best way to put it. She's almost 5 years old so could this be due to old age?
When I dumped the scrap bucket she didn't respond like the other hens which is to immediately run over and scuffle for a bite. She just stood there and when I went to try and catch her, the only thing she did was take a few steps away from me before I grabbed her.
I looked her over. Her crop is full, she doesn't have water belly, she's not pale or lethargic, She has no mites that I could find, and she's not limping.
After I let her go she scratched around and little and lightly picked at the grass and then mingled with the other hens and preened. She's walking really slowly. Is this normal?

Could be heat related. Aside from lethargy you'd need a little more to troubleshoot anything else.
