Possum are night time marauders usually. How safe is she at night?
Fix your coop if you want to keep her and then do a search on craigs list in your area and find her a hen companion.
Or offer your girl on craigs list to a good home. State in your add you will deliver your chicken to them. Then that gives you a chance to check out there set up and condition of there birds before you hand her over. You will not feel so bad in parting with her this way.
This is my recomendations.
Her coop is fixed. I know a young girl who wants her and has a great flock. I guess I’m going to give Lucy to her. My only concern is she acted like a rooster when I had the others and now she jumps on my westie dog sometimes. She’s always been free ranged and this girl does keep her girls in a large coop with a run.
