My hen is laying with no shell

I would give her a human calcium citrate tablet with vitamin D once a day for a week, to see if it helps harden her egg shells. A layer feed with available crushed oyster shell is needed for healthy egg shells. Sometimes if they are suffering from salpingitis or other reproductive problems they may have defective or soft shells. Have any hens ever had respiratory issues with frequent sneezing? Infectious bronchitis virus can cause egg shell problems.

No this is the first problem I’ve had with this hen
