My hen is laying

Or wrap plastic around the pen during winter months when the temps get extreme and high winds.
It's hard to get pheasants to use a 'house' or coop, like chickens do but I guess if you trained them to do that it would work...a lot of work to get them to go in the coop after they are mature.

Ok that’s great. I have some good ideas :) my hen has been laying her eggs inside the coop there in for now but not in the nesting box lol they both go in and out of the coop sometimes for awhile I don’t know what they do in there. But at night they both roost on the branches I have out side the coop. So far my hen has laid 8 eggs one day she laid 2

They don't, can't lay 2 eggs a day. What happened was she postponed laying the 1st egg, for whatever reason, the second was coming down the pike so it appears she laid two in the same day....my melanistics do that quite often.
It takes 21 to 23 hours for the egg to go through the reproductive process. They can withhold laying if stressed or frightened.

That is really interesting. I didn’t know that thanx. How long does it take for them to fully mature ?

I'm guessing your asking about 'how long' it takes the hen to mature not the egg?
Hens are mature the 1st breeding season after hatching. Usually at about 16 weeks of age, they are mature.
Here's a link you may be interested in...it was written for chickens but it applies to pheasants as well.
