my hen is not laying

hello i am new to the website , but i have a question .
my mommy chicken had 14 baby chicks and we recently got her from someone selling all there chickens, well when we got her home with 14 babies , we pulled the babies and put her in the coop with the older chickens , they are all doing fine and getting along , but its been over 1 week and she is still not laying eggs yet.
any help and or advise you could give would be greatly appreciated.

They won't lay when brooding chicks and then the move probably has her upset. Eventually she'll settle down. Some take longer than others but lay she will. When she's ready.
