My hen is obsessed with me!...

I have this 7 month old Delaware hen that is absolutely obsessed with me. Her name is Sunny, and she follows me everywhere. She preens my clothes too and pecks me to get attention. She gets mad when I give attention to other hens and chases them around pecking them. She tried to get into our house because she knows that's my "coop" and she always just sits in front of the back door waiting for me to come!... I never should have taught her to recognize her name because when I said "Go away, SUNNY!" she just came even closer. And today she started preening my hair (basically grabbing my hair in her beak and ripping on it super hard, ow!) What a hen.

Very sweet. I had a Buff Orpington hen a few years ago that acted in much the same fashion. She would come into the coop and sing to me as I gathered eggs. I still miss her.

Maybe try ignoring her when she does it?

Add a rooster to your flock and he will keep her busy.

To begin with, tie your hair back, or put it up. If she can't get it, maybe she'll lose interest in your hair. The rest of it...

I think she hates him because of the mating, even though she's like the hen that he mates the least with.

As it seems, she took a fancy to you and is trying to get your attention just like a hen would behave around a rooster she likes.
