hanks to all help and tips

Usually, when a hen goes broody she only comes out to eat and drink every now and then, then straight back to the nest. so if she's out in the day all day she's likely not broody. though if you want her to go broody I've read that putting things like lavender and other herbs in the nest will encourage them, as well as a dark safe spot to lay. Additionally, if you get too close while they are actually broody they will fluff up and get defensive, so then you would know that they are broody if they did that.

yes all i want to know is if she is brood she is back on the nest but i dont know if she is just laying an egg
