My 5 girls are free rangers. They have complete access to our backyard and all the bugs they could possibly imagine or ever want. Lol.
Well, today my hubby hopped on the mini excavator and we are leveling the back yard. Moving dirt from high spots to low and it’s been bringing LOTS of bugs to the surface.
They all had really full crops before bed but one of my girls ate so much that she was being noisy, had her mouth open and needed help getting in the coop.
She was crying to my husband and her crop is SO full.
it’s cute that she enjoyed all the grub, but also I feel so sad for her. The other hens are full but seemingly content. This poor girl is not having it.
I put her in the coop and took the feed out for now so she doesn’t have access to ANYTHING else for the night except water.
Any ideas how I can help her?
