My hen Scout found dead.

Internal laying is when eggs, partial or whole are deposited into the abdomen. There is a term called "false laying" which most use interchangeably with internal laying where egg material, usually mixed with infection, backs up into the oviducts or drops into the abdomen and cooks in there. It's a chronic condition with no prevention and no cure other than a complete hysterectomy by a vet (if the hen lives through the anesthesia), very common in high production layers and more common in hatchery birds than good breeder stock.
