my hen was broody for the first time!!

my hen Belle was just broody not long ago and choose to sit on 16 of her own eggs, so I waited until they hatch on the due date I forgot about them and did not check in that day so the next day when I remembered I went in and found one healthy chick, about 4 dead chicks and 5 non-hacked ones, the one that made it was off the nest and with the mom on the ground, and yes I know the math does not make sense with the eggs but that's what we saw . and we broke the other one open in the forest and found 3 half-born chicks and 2 full of yolk.

The two full of yolk were likely infertile.
Are you sure these were all her eggs or could other hens have volunteered eggs to the nest?

they were all hers, I have 2 hen s and 2 roosters, and the other hen lays green eggs. hers were all brown

16 eggs may have too many for her to effectively incubate.
