my hens are bowing

    DLS Chillin' With My Peeps

    when I go in the yard they run to me & put there head down then spread there wings 1/2 way out . Looks like a submission thing or some thing. They won't let me be untill i pet them & rub there crop & stroke there comb. what is that? . I like it but wonder what started it? only the sex links bow. the leggerns & RiR come a running But the are not in love acting.

    yep, they see you as the big daddy roo... [​IMG]

    Give them a good backrub and they will shake it off and strut off. Try not to think about it what it really means to them too much... [​IMG]

    If they aren't laying yet, that is a great sign that eggs are on the way soon!
