My hens are going to kill eachother! HELP!

I get what you're saying. It is tough when you are trying to figure something out and have no clue what you're doing. As far as heat, I tried to select breeds that are heat tolerant, and my chickens have a swamp cooler available to them in the summer to keep the coop at about 85 degrees during the heat of the day. The coop is an old metal horse barn, we did insulate the roof, but still was getting too hot for the hens to be comfortable. I appreciate everyone's input on this. Has at least given me a direction to head to.
 
If possible make so they have direct contact with ground in shaded location with a little breeze. Then conditions they suffer are much milder than mine where swamp cooler effect does not work owing to high humidity.
