My hens aren't laying yet?

Me and my aunt got hens at the same time and they all are same breeds and from the same group. Mine started laying a few weeks ago and all of them are laying but hers aren't laying yet except one. They all are free rangers but the one of hers that does lay lays in the nest box. Why aren't all of hers laying yet when mine are?

Do do you feed your chickens and what does she feed hers? A nutritional difference can definitely cause the difference in laying, especially if hers are deficient in nutrients.

Yes I am using organic feed and she is using regular feed. Also she lets hers free range all over when mine are contained in a run.

I'd suggest you aunt may very well have hidden nests too. At least the possibility exists. If your pullets are confined, you shouldn't have that problem.
