My hens first week of egg laying(pics)

She started laying at 15.5 weeks. I took pictures
of all 5 eggs she laid her first week. I can't believe
the dif. in size and color. Notice the dark brown eggs.
These dark ones came after she didn't lay the day before.
I told my husband they were dyed longer (extra day)

I can't wait for my other 5 hens to start. It's been a great week
gathering eggs, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Think cool-Finally!
1st egg 6/20 double yolk

2nd (smaller than 1st) and 3rd(gigantic)double yolk, I couldn't close the lid
on the egg carton.

are you sure they are all from the same hen?

quite a variety. Its funny when they first start laying, some of the eggs are really crazy!

She's the only one in the nest box nesting. I'm usually out
their in the afternoon when she starts nesting, nobody else is
squatting or showing signs.

You'd be suprised how stealthy some of them are about sneaking in and laying when you're not looking...

HUGE wow congrats what breed are they and i think you have more than 1 layer

what the hen is - someone last week said

I have 2 BO hens the same age but they hardly have any comb

Can you tell it is around lunch time here? ANYway, I too would say you have two laying. Lovely looking eggs, Congrats!!

eta: I went and made myself scrambled eggs and corned beef hash. Mmmm, YUM!!
