my older flock of 15 hens that are 16 months old have dropped off laying since i got the 10, new 1 year old rhode island red/ sexlinks hens 2 weeks ago. i was getting 10-14 eggs a day from the 15, now im only getting 6-9 eggs a day from 25 birds. they have fresh water and layer mash 24/7.and 14 nestboxes in the 10x12 coop plus a big fenced in yard to roam all day are they all stressed out or what.
