My hens won't go INTO their coop (eglu) at sundown!

Have you tried putting a small lightbulb on an extention cord in the coop?
It could be temporary.
It might give them the idea to get into the coop, because they're naturally drawn to light.
Have you tried posting this question on the eglu forum?
They have more experience with eglus.
Love the way those cute eglus look!

Chickens are a creature of habit. You need to retrain them.

1.) Put them in and leave them in coop & run (no free ranging) for a few days probably even for week.

2.)Then start letting them out to free range an hour before dusk, they should go back on their own if not back to #1.....

3.)After they get used to it start letting them out earlier and earlier - they should get used to the idea that the coop/pod is where they sleep.
