First off I want to thank all of you who have submitted pictures and ideas on building your own BATOR. I looked over many different BATORS and came up with this one. I used a hot water heater thermostat, 2 40 watt light bulbs, CPU fan and many other items I had laying around. The top is hinged if I need to get into the eggs. The bottom 6" is will come off as well if I need to get there for any reason. I added the PVC pipe to add water as needed without opening it up. The only things I had to purchase was the egg turner and the thermometer. It had maintained a temp of 99-100 for a couple days so I think I am ready to give it a try.
