I finally finished it and it's working perfectly.

I'll be picking up my eggs on Saturday, provided my egg turner gets here by Friday.

I would enjoy your comments and/or feedback.

A big Thanks to BYC and it's members for a great wealth of information.

It runs at a stable 99.5 using my Spot Check thermometer inside a water wiggler. It may deviate a tenth of a degree, but I can live with that.

Check out my link above on more details.

That is great! I would like to learn how you were able to achieve this. I would like to build some smaller prototypes for my students. We hatch eggs in the classroom and they are interested in keeping the hobby up after they graduate.

I'm sure it could be done on a smaller scale.

Perhaps you could begin by using 1 x 8 inch boards for the sides and make it about 18 inches square and use one bulb.

Fabulous! I'll be asking hubby for a cabinet incubator for mommy's day...I'll hand him this thread for ideas.

I've got eggs! How far are you from Lawrence?

Thanks for the warm replies everyone.

Hey Chooks — I'm about an hour and a half from Lawrence. Thanks for the offer, but I landed some BCM eggies from Ivywoods who lives in Hiawatha, which is about 30 minutes from me.

I'll be picking up 2 dozen Saturday and set them in the incubator on Mother's Day.

Although, the way chicken math is calculated around here, I might be asking you later for a dozen or two.
