i just noticed this today but could have started already a day or so ago; my folks are here from overseas so we are out a lot, and husband doesnt pay as much attention to details....
we had a young chick of his thai chicks , also raised in the house, stumbling and falling, but seems recovered now... eating same food,
i thought maybe newpaper floor. so put dirt from outdoor chickens in their box..
thought poison but all the babies and others are fine...
thinking maybe food? vitamin lack? she pecks at food if i offer it. her crop is full (maybe not emptying?)
but her feet seem, floppy. when iextend them, she draws them back to her, wierd...i was just getting attched to her ...
if she were a goat i would say niacin deficiency but ? i offerred her some hard boiled egg, thinking to offer her bio yougurt (probiotic type yougurt we have here).
no vet tomorrow its shabbat and anyhow i dont have the money, all others seem healthy so not full poison, not disease, stumped... she's a cochin/pekin bantam. her brothers are big and healthy, she is a bit younger and smaller then them. they are outdoors, ive kept her indoors.. any ideas? have no animal nor human antibiotics here, only human female oriented multi vitamin... should i give her e small amount?
