I had a couple like that too, they were the first two my sex-link laid. She's down to just regular bigger than average eggs now.

I have an EE with larger than jumbo eggs. . . Every time she lays. Kinda sad really.

I got one of those from my EE last week! It was blue and GIANT...I told my kids to watch me crack it because it would be a double-yolker, and guess what...yep, just 1 giant yolk. My pan looked just like yours!

My eggs are brown and when I have candled them with a flashlight, I couldn't really tell much about what is inside (although they were fresh eggs, not eggs with chicks growing in them).

I wonder if someone had a REAL candler, if you could tell whether there was one yolk or two in there? Those biggies would be nice to place under a broody!
