I was sitting here reading posts just now, thinking I'm tired, I'm going to bed, just really pooped. Then from the living room came my Pavlovian Bell, the music to Airwolf started and I popped out of this chair like a fruit cake, stepped on a cat, tripped on a Chihuahua, almost fell on the quail infirmary cage, but I made it out there in time to see Jan Michael Vincent in the opening credits!!

Your reference sailed over my head like a startled Polish.

But every time I hear a champagne cork pop I think of my French host mom. Whenever I'd open a bottle she'd come running and say, "Did someone say my name?".

That is too cute!! I just reacted to the theme from Emergency! I haven't watched tv in so long, but with Steven gone I've been having the Retro network on in the livingroom for background voices so I don't feel so alone. I couldn't believe the first time I heard that theme from Airwolf I remembered it right away and ran for the livingroom!

The A-Team, then Airwolf, then Emergency! Oh yeah!! I started thinking of the sounds that get my attention and my reactions to them. That certain bark you know means trouble, the squawk that means "help!", we all have them, and we are well trained to respond to them.

I liked it too,, lol I had no idea I'd have to explain a Pavlovian response to so many people! That one was worth a few emails.

Pavlov: Trained dogs to come at the ring of the bell to eat, they would drool in anticipation, he removed the food and still rang the bell and they still drooled. Yes very simplified! An early method of clicker training!

I think "AirWolf" is only on Betamax.....Right next to the "A Team" lazerdisc....

Both of those things I thought would really catch on...........

My trigger is baggpipes. I got dog ears for those things....
