We went through Wal-Mart the other day and my 16-yo daughter saw 2 girls walk by in Girl Scout uniforms. She got all excited and started asking me where the cookies were!
She was crushed to learn GS cookies were a once a year phenomenon. And then I asked her if they'd studied Pavlov yet in school. The look on her face said they had

She loves the dance I do, but is crushed when I flush her gift away.

My biggest automatic response, though, is to sneezes. I HAVE to say "Bless you," whether the sneezer is an animla, on tv, or a total stranger in a store. It comes out before I even have time to realize I've heard a sneeze. My family laughs about this a lot. Especially when it's for someone on TV

My Pavlovian response is to the crunch of gravel in the driveway! I'm a stay-at-home mom and crunchy gravel means company! Every time I hear it, I dash away to the windows to check!

For the record, I don't know any of the references except Val Kilmer. I'm a little lost!
