My husband sprayed miracle gro on our plants...

looked out the window and saw my DH (d is not for dear this time) spraying miracle gro in the yard. My birds free-range. He got mad when I asked him to stop. How long b4 I can let my girls out in the yard again.? This was yesterday. I've ask him not to do this b4.

Got one even worse...mine sprayed Round Up!!!

Either can't be good for them. I was going around all day trying to keep them out of the areas he sprayed. After a few days, and especially after it rained, I thought it was ok and let them do their thing. This was about a month ago and they are fine.

I suggest you do what I did. I made a deal that I would manually take care of all the weeds if he would stop spraying. It's a lot of work but I don't want all those chems in the yard around my chickens and KIDS! Start using organic types of fertilizer and tell your husband you will be responsible for fertilizing your yard.
