(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I got them off CraigsList about a month ago. Found a nice coop to start with. I have a friend who has chickens. I wanted them for the eegs, but they are quickly becoming pets. I grew up on a farm, had lots of animals. All I remember about the chickens was I hated butchering time.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
I would love to know. One seems to be a Rhode Island Red, then I have a all white one, one all black, and the other two are smaller and I was told they are Easter hens?

My friend told me to look here as it has helped her with her chickens.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Music I play drums, Fishing (tournaments), Golf 15 Handicap.

Married 43 years. Have two Maltese dogs. One is a puppy and came about same time as chickens. At first they played now he just wants to try and sneak up on them to chase them. Time to put a stop to that. I'm a Realtor.
