I love my Brahma mama, she's so gentle and cuddly. She's friendly and curious and her feet are feathered, so she looks like something that could be on Sesame Street. When she comes running for food or treats, I call her my fluffy raptor.
Chickens are the only life for me...I'm fairly new to chickens, just 2 1/2 years, now. I have 3 chickens at the moment. I have 2 Americana and 1 Brahma, of course. Their names are Marble, Faline, and Sprinkles.
I found Backyard Chickens while searching information on how to help my egg bound chicken. The help was spot on and Faline is doing great, now.
I hope to meet others like myself, that love their chickens, as well.
Thanks for reading.

Fields Mountain Farm,
Thanks for writing back. Sweet to meet you, as well. In the pic, that looks like a Blue Jersey Giant. I had a Blue Jersey and I had to put her down, recently. I miss her because she was my first chicken. I will be getting two more Brahmas, though, the end of August.
That's all for now.
