My introduction

hello. I am Jo Anne and I am from Ottawa ON. We have had chickens now since May 19 2017. We got our six girls when they were 7 weeks old. Sadly we lost Reba to heat exhaustion after a month. So now we have 5 chickens. 2 Rhode Island Reds and 3 black sex link. Today they are 19 weeks old and yesterday we got our first egg and today another girl gave us one.

I look forward to browsing the site and learning so much from everyone.

Sorry for your loss. Heat can be hard on mature birds as well.
