I have been a chicken mommy for about 2 1/5 years now. I love my chickens! Earlier this year, we decided to add a rooster. Turns out he is a Rhode Island Red and very aggressive. Now I can't even enjoy my chickies because he is so mean. I am working on taming him a bit, but it is a slow process.

I recently found that I like gardening. I would like to get to the point where I can "recycle". I mean like grow my own veges and share with the chickens. I have been surfing this site and decided to become a member. There is a lot of good info here!
