I noticed yesterday that my Isa Browns beak is split at the tip of it.

Is this something to be worried about or needs to be fixed in any way? Also how does something like this happen?

You said hers was split at the tip - I ran into a similar issue yesterday. While cleaning out the coop, one of our girls got spooked and ran, repeatedly, into the wall even though we stopped and gave her some space. Later on while she was roaming the yard I noticed her beak bleeding. Turns out she broke it and has a crack about 1/3 of the way up from the tip. After doing some google searching, I made sure it stopped bleeding and put some neosporin on it to keep it clotted. I cleaned her up and have been making sure she isn't getting picked on. I don't think it feels good but I'm not sure what else to do. Anybody have any tips for this or do we just need to wait it out?

It fell off completely? Is she filing her beak and still eating fine? My girl's beak has split further and I think will eventually fall off as she files it down. I'm not really concerned about it anymore since she is eating fine, isn't getting picked on and seems to be filing it and taking care of it herself. Hope yours seems similar!
