MY JACK RUSSELL GOT MY CHICKEN AND IT IS HURT

My jack russell got my rhode island red. this morning I thought it was going to die but it is standing but can't raise its neck what do I do?? I love my chicken

Better isolate the dog and the chicken. We have a jack Russel terrier also which is called Jack who is very hyperacitive and when around the chickens can not keep his nose to himself and got pecked by a chicken. The dog did not like that and bit the bird on the top of its back, the chicken did not last the night, I think it died not from the wound but from schock. If your dog is not trained to know how to behave you just have to keep them away or seperate them.We had a similar problem with the goats. The goats do not put up with any nonsense from dogs but the 3 dogs formed a pack and were ready to do the goat in if my boss the owner of all them had not stepped in and stopped them. All you can do is seperate them or fence them off. [email protected]

thank you for getting back to me. The chickens are separated from the Jack Russell, but the chicken is not doing well. Hopefully nature will take it course quickly and the chicken will die (
