My younger brother was a terror when he was little. He drove us all nuts. We did eventually get tested, and my brother had ADHD. I had ADD, but I wasn't a spaz like he was. This was also back when very little was known about ADHD, and ritilan was experimental. Our mother refused to medicate him thank god. She wasn't a nice woman, but at least she had some common sense when it came to those matters.
My brother was a handful, but we learned how to deal with his outbursts when they happened, and a lot of the times what may be observed today as ADHD was just him being a kid. He turned out to be a great guy with many talents, and just fun to be around.
When I had my daughter, I thought, oh boy, I hope she is not a spaz like my brother was, but she turned out to be a very laid back kid. I was always complimented by her daycare, and teachers on how well behaved, and intelligent she was for her age. Even as a baby she was quiet. I would take her camping with me, and folks in the campsite next to us were surprised how quiet and happy she was at 9 months old
I just figured I got spoiled and lucky with her because some of my friends kids were the devil compared to her
They were pulling their hair out.
