I'm going to leave them right where they are...maybe the next strong rains will wash them down to the neighbors part of the creek and THEY can think they hve dead bodies in the creek.

Seriously, it's awfully cold and those things are heavy and waterlogged. I don't have any way of pulling them back up the bank of the creek as it's about a 6' drop to the creek bottom from the top of the bank. I'd need a 4 wheeler to pull them out and haul them out of the woods - AND there's no way for a vehicle to get over on that side of the creek anyway...

I HAVE to agree with Kris....man, there is NO WAY I would have goen down there in the dark. I dont even think I would have gone in the DAYLIGHT!
Yup, im a whimp....I am one of the people that believes....after dark...bunnies grow large fangs,,,bloody eyes...and 6 ft tall. NO WAY!
If I have to go out after dark...I am sure I get more grey hairs over a blowing leaf!

I would leave it there since sometimes clothes do decompose fast if there is something on bank that would tear them to pieces like ants or birds for their nests. Never mind about dragging the stuffed bodies out of the creek....I would not take them out for all its worth for breaking my back!

reminds me of finding a doll half submerged in a mud puddle on day, just the head and one arm were visible. i found out that day what people mean when they say 'my heart jumped in my throat'.

I just kept seeing scared little faces. I had a cousin by marriage that was abducted and a man and his two lil boys found her while walking down to a lake to fish. I guess thats why I was so worried.

After watching the news for the last couple of days, it wouln't have surprised me if it WERE a dead body! I'm SO GLAD it wasn't! How scary to think about! There are some real sick tickets out there, I'm just horrified about what's been going on in our country lately.
