The pic of the "body" the kids saw was more realistic to me. I would have been more afraid of that one; the first didn't look real. Poor kids.

I've only just found this thread... but year, the second one looked very convincing. It was nice of the kids to not try bring down the mood

I wouldn't go anywhere too far from houses at night - let alone if I knew a dead body was going to confront me

Yeah they renamed Dead Man's Creek (runs behind Dad's house) White Oak or some such not too many years back... reckon it was bringing down property values??

Today's big morbid freak out came in the form of a paw... that the dog brought into the study and proceeded to gnaw on. I knew what it was immediately but kept my trap shut... but does that stop DS... oh no, he had to google... possum... nope... raccoon... nope... skunk... nope... fox... nope... cat... BINGO.
