In Iowa, In addition to our name and address, we have to put a disclaimer on our cartons...

"Farm Fresh eggs not subject to State Inspection or Licensure"

I used to have people turn away the eggs because they thought "State Inspection"
ensured that they were getting better, safer eggs.

Funny thing about that...after the Salmonella outbreak last summer from Iowa's commercial
producers...people suddenly decided that "farmer inspected" was better than "State inspected".

My eggs just flew off the table at farmer's market!

I wish i could get more of these cartons! But they are SO expensive.. maybe they will go on sale? Idk.. 2 bucks seems like alot! I got them from bath and body works XD And haha we dont have to put that, im only selling to neighbors as of now.

I made my own labels, too. I just recycle old cartons from previous storebought eggs. I just put the label over the farm name on the old carton. Going green!

Goodness, go to eggcartons.com. They have free shipping specials all the time and colored egg cartons. 6 packs. I think I got 25 for 13$? I have no idea but it wasn't 2 $ per!
