My Lav. coop is finished! PIC Heavy!

Hey everyone! My Lavs. have gotten so big, it was time for a coop of their own (time for graduation from the grow out pen!), so my wonderful DH threw this one together for me in 2 days. Yes! It only took 2 days, run and all with a total cost of $50 because we used a lot of scrap that we had laying around to build it. We still need to add plywood covers for the windows which should be done this coming week, shingles over the black paper, hardware cloth around the bottom of the run, and I am going to paint it red but it is done enough for the Lavs. to have moved in and I wanted to share.

Thank you all! I'm getting ready to add onto the grow out pen and turn it into the buff's coop and my son had my DH out there yesterday afternoon planning his coop. Before this this over we are going to have that whole side of the yard covered in coops! lol!

How long did it take you to build that coop?

Only 2 days, run and all.

We used screws on the whole thing so when it comes time to add on, we can just take the plywood off of the left side and add another section to it. That shouldn't take more than a day to do either.
