Well, I blew it! I woke up with my sciatic nerve hurting so bad, worse than it has in years, that I got up and took a 400 mg of ibuprofen. It wasn't until I went and laid back down that I thought nooo! Called the doctor's office. And yep, I have to wait until next Wednesday to have my surgery now. One of those meds on the long list of things not to take before surgery because it can cause excessive bleeding. In fact a week before surgery. They said that the shoulder is a place that you cannot do a tourniquet on if needed. Bummer.

That is one of the worst things about surgery. You have to live with a lot of pain before surgery because you cannot take nsaids!

I hope it goes better next week

:hugs Sure is nice though that you knew it was bad, and thought to tell them and reschedule. Whew!
