My leukemia's back.

Phil, yes run-of-the-mill rats. You would think with all the eagles, various types of hawks, and owls we have that there would not be many rats in this area. They don't seem to be doing their job. We have lots of snakes, and rats too. Lazy raptors.
 
well, the ptarmigan here are also called dumb chickens. They freeze, thinking you can't see them when they are right there clear as day.
Yeah that's how sharptails are too..... Snowshoe hares do that too..... When they turn white in the winter.
But they still do it if the snow melts and they are still white.
 
It's nip, and tuck, which I expect it to be for awhile. I get rid of them for a little while, then they come back. Chickens are a new thing on this property, so having food out there is quite the drawing card. In time, I'll get them under control. Phil, and Banty if you're feeling left out, or deprived, I'll be glad to send you some. They're good food for the other predators.
Nope we're good..... Want some snow?
