Oh i didn't mean it in a bad way. I just like my space. Love my kids and grandkids!

Oh I didn't take it bad.... It's just seems like there is no idea set up..... Most of my friends who have grands close by end up permanent babysitters tired right down...... Or it's the opposite and there are so far away they never see them....I guess I got it okay....I get to see mine often enough so they don't grow up without me.....

Is there ever really an "after kids"?

If raised properly they seem to develop a life of their own. Mom and Dad still matter, but naturally their kids tend to become their new priority. It ain't all bad. You get the grand kids, and then you get to send them home.
