My dad had a deputy sheriff's badge... got him out of lots of trouble.

Around here, the California Highway Patrol will nearly 100% give you a ticket if they pull you over. County Sheriff is a 50/50 thing. The Woodland City Police Department depends on which type of office pulls you over. We have 2 or three car units that are traffic enforcement and two motorcycle cops. Any of them will give you a ticket. the other city cops do not care as much about traffic.

I have had one ticket for moving violation 42 years ago. I did get a fixit ticket because the front side widows were tinted too darkly. We bought the care used that way
