My leukemia's back.

Good morning Team! Got the fam coming over for Easter dinner and Evan's birthday, but not much to do until the usual last-minute flurry. Most everything is prepped and ready to go. Have a blessed day, all!

Enjoy your early Easter B!

Will do. No Easter Egg hunt this year. House is too small and it's pouring rain outside. Everyone was talking about the moon last night on the Wyoming Through the Lens site, so I took a look from the hall window. There's a yard light back there but I didn't think it would interfere too much. Looked up at the moon and a shingle off the hot tub room went sailing by. Yeah, goodnight moon. <sigh>

I don't know why I said it was raining...it's 18 degrees and snowing like crazy for goodness sakes! Wishful thinking?

Anyway, we knew that Kendra wouldn't be doing the town Easter Egg hunt today because of the weather, and our house is too small to do one indoors. But we needn't have worried! The town didn't want Kendra to miss it, and they already had her stuff so what they did next was typically Cowley. Before the town hunt, which went on as scheduled, they secretly planted blue and white flags with Kendra's name on them (with Easter Eggs at the base of the flags), all over the kids' yard. When the kids left this morning to make a quick Walmart run and stepped out the door, Kendra's Easter Egg hunt was right in front of them! Why do we live in a podunk town with only 600 people? This is why! The quality of the pics stinks, and there's only one small shot of what's all over the yard, but I had to share!

Kendra reaching for a flag...sorry it's not a better shot but it was a capture during a Facetime session.

Just a few of the flags in their yard. Everyone of them says "Kendra" on it. They did this for her last year (on a much warmer Easter Egg Hunt) and for another little girl named Taylor, is also disabled. I'll bet Taylor's yard has pink and green ones, too!

Yeah, don't know why I said "pouring rain". Obviously it's not, and we have much more now. It wasn't sticking to the grass earlier, but it sure is now. I think Darth Vader may even come visit today!
