thanks it takes a stern word from a cardeologist to realize the reality and make me tip over the decision to go for it.Congrats, Deb. I'm proud of you.
I am taking Gabapenton which is a cousin of Lyrica... an older drug. I am keeping my carbs to as close to 30 grams as possible... I seem to be hovering around 44 right now. Using a fitbit to track my progress and report to software my activity... It trakst my movement during the day and calculates how many calories I have burned... VERY useful....Way to GO, Deb!!! I am absolutely thrilled for you! Rest assured, however, that those pounds are not truly lost - <sigh> I know just where they are. I've got them. For some reason I've managed to gain some weight just at the time I least want it....we leave for Grand Lodge 2 weeks from tomorrow and I'm worried about one of my formals not fitting right. And I haven't changed anything I've been eating or drinking. The only thing that's been changed is a med change, and I'll bet my last dollar that having done that almost a month ago that's what I'm seeing. Had the same trouble with Lyrica. Maybe not chasing chickens and Kendra as much has something to do with it, too. I dunno. But I'm still me on the inside.![]()
