My leukemia's back.

What was the temperature. It's still in the 90's here. I'd have to pull one of those rolling coolers to stay hydrated, and use the melted ice water to keep a rag cooled off around my neck. I just can't be so active in the hot temperatures anymore, like when I was younger.
It was about 70.... Overcast with a slight breeze.....

The climatic report for us shows the last few years have had more and more 90 F days than before. Not liking that one bit. But on the other hand have been having some bitter cold temps earlier than winter :idunno

80's I can handle. When it hits 94, it slows me down.
80's I can handle if it's not humid. Humidity at any temperature does me in. My mother, on the other hand, thrives on it. I will call her on a hot and humid day to tell her to be careful because it's hot and humid and she says, "Oh, is it? I hadn't noticed." Of course, this is a woman who freezes once the temperatures plunge below 80.

bobbi, you saying that reminded me of my grandfather. My dad used to swear my grandfather dressed for a blizzard at bedtime, in the middle of summer. He had a wool cap, wool booties, 2 pairs of long sleeved pajamas, all for going to bed. It was 90 out, and the A/C set at 75.
