My leukemia's back.

need to teach Fiona how to vacuume.... LOL Or put dustbunny grabbers on her feet...

All joking aside I have been threatening for a very long time about yanking the carpet out completely and doing my floors in Concrete with drains in the middle... Then hose the floors down and squeegie it off. Then area carpets with pads where I want them.

What a plan.... :lau

That is my dream.....

A house that I can house down.

And a car.

Oh, cleaning the inside of a car has to be the worst! I'll take floors any day!

Hey Al, I just saw a report on a 7.0 earthquake a few miles north of Anchorage. Is that anywhere close to you?

I am far enough south of Anchorage (way south on the Kenai Peninsula... 45 minute flight, 6 hour drive) that it was a pretty big shake, but no damage here.

My eldest though is up in Anchorage for college... in the dorms.

It never dawned on him to tell us he was OK. But he IS OK. Luckily we didn't worry... the kid is sweet.. but so unconnected to reality....

Anyway. His dorm lost power for only a couple of hours. The cafeteria is still running... so he is fine. :lau give a boy food and a dry place to sleep, and no worries!

It didn't bother Alaskan but, his son is in that area - he is okay.

Yep! What she said!

He’s probably busy trying to sort out how things are near his son, then, and making sure everyone he cares about are okay. Sending prayers for those affected.

Thanks!

From what I understand, it isn't too bad. I just hope the individuals who had damage have good insurance.
